The ZHAW School of Management and Law operates a collegiate chapter of the International Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) – one of the advantages of being accredited by AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The best students and some faculty members can be invited to become members of this unique network of “best in business.”
We are proud to announce that our collegiate chapter has reached “Highest Honors” (i.e., the top level) for the last reporting year ending 30 June. This achievement, for the third time, would not have been possible without the commitment of all our chapter officers, including the BGS Student Executive Leadership Team, and our collaboration with the BGS Switzerland Alumni Chapter.
Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) was founded in 1913 as an honor society for business students in the United States. In keeping with its mission statement, its goals are to recognize and promote academic achievement in the study of business, to cultivate and celebrate leadership and professional competence, to uphold the values of BGS, and to serve its lifelong members.
The ZHAW School of Management and Law (SML) Collegiate Chapter was formally inaugurated on February 26, 2016, and its first members were inducted and honored at the same time.
