The graduates of the ZHAW School of Management and Law International Executive MBA (IEMBA) celebrated the completion of their Diploma with a festive graduation ceremony at the Winterthur Kunstmuseum at the end of February 2017. “IEMBA graduates now have an international business toolbox and a broader and deeper understanding of management and leadership”, said Program Director Michael Farley. “With the skills they have gained from the course I am sure that our students’ careers will go from strength to strength.”
Daniel Schranz and Esther Seidl-Nussbaumer, two of the IEMBA graduates, delivered a speech of thanks on behalf of the successful students and highlighted the background, industry sectors and diversity of the students. They said: “The IEMBA program broadened our horizon and helped us to get a more differentiated picture by seeing different facets. It was a wonderful time of co-transformation with fellow students, lecturers and faculty members.”
The students looked back at a range of highlights: The Study trip to China and the Middle East, the demanding Business Simulation Week as well as many memorable moments in class. Finally yet importantly, the Leadership Development Program was described as being a key attribute in the individual advancement of each participant. Close ties have been formed among the students and the faculty and this network will be maintained in various Alumni events and meetups in the future. Michael Farley says that the comprehensive study program has once again inspired students and faculty alike and he is looking forward to seeing this talent and newly acquired skill put into practice in prosperous careers. We are happy to call the graduates our alumni.
